NASHVILLE, Tenn. On Tuesday, June 6. 2017, the Neighborhoods Resource Center hosted the Local Forum "Making Research More Relevant to People: Results of a PCORI Methods Award" at the Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center.

The Precision Medicine & Health Disparities Collaborative, led by Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Meharry Medical College and the University of Miami, is now accepting applications for Precision Medicine and Health Disparities Collaborative Pilot Project (PMHDC) Awards. Each 1-year pilot project award is for up to $50,000 direct cost. The application deadline is July 15, 2017.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. On Thursday, June 1, 2017, the Department of Internal Medicine and Nashville General Hospital at Meharry will present Medical Grand Rounds, with Gilbert Gonzales, PhD discussing "Health Care Reform: From ObamaCare to the American Health Care Act."
Gonzales is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Policy at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He will speak from 6 - 7 pm at the Cal Turner Family Center in Auditorium 1.
