Medical Grand Rounds presents 'Multiple Sclerosis: A Review'

NASHVILLE, Tenn. On Wednesday, April 26, 2017, the Department of Internal Medicine presents Medical Grand Rounds, with Heather D. Horton, MD’12 discussing "Multiple Sclerosis: A Review." Horton is the Medical Director at KCA Neurology in Franklin, TN. She will speak from 12:10 - 1:10 pm at S. S. Kresge Learning Resource Center, Lecture Hall 1.  

Medical Grand Rounds presents 'The Journey Moves on the Sparkling of the SPARCL Study'

NASHVILLE, Tenn. On Wednesday, April 19, 2017, the Department of Medicine presents Medical Grand Rounds, with Alfred S. Callahan, III, MD discussing “The Journey Moves on the Sparkling of the SPARCL Study.” Callahan is Adjunct Associate Professor of Medicine (Neurology) in the Department of Internal Medicine. He will present from 12:10 p.m. – 1:10 p.m. in the S. S. Kresge Learning Resource Center, Lecture Hall 1.  

PMHDC announces Community Engagement Planning Awards

NASHVILLE, Tenn. The Consortium Core of the Precision Medicine and Health Disparities Collaborative (PMHDC) announced on March 15 the approval of funding to three community-based organizations in the Southeast region -- the Miami-Dade Area Health Education Center, the Progreso Community Center and Fl CHW Coalition, Inc. -- as the Community Engagement Planning Awards for Year One.
