Faculty Affiliate Program

The Meharry-Vanderbilt Alliance (MVA) Faculty Affiliate Program (FAP) offers a centralized place to connect Meharry Medical College (MMC), Vanderbilt University (VU), Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC), and U-54/Meharry-Vanderbilt-Tennessee State Cancer Partnership (MVTCP) faculty members to the information and tools that facilitate collaborative research and engagement in leadership activities.

The mission of the MVA FAP is to align resources, build capacity, facilitate collaborative research, and foster engagement in leadership activities.

The program aims to:

•Provide curated resources to advance faculty member career development.

• Empower capacity for research and career development and scholarly opportunities.

• Enrich collaboration and encourage team science.

Membership Eligibility

The Meharry-Vanderbilt Alliance Faculty Affiliate Program is open to all Meharry Medical College (MMC), Vanderbilt University (VU), Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC), and U-54/Meharry-Vanderbilt-Tennessee State Cancer Partnership (MVTCP) faculty members, including tenured/tenure-track faculty, non-tenured faculty, and lecturers. The programs constituency represents a broad range of disciplines, schools, departments, and programs from the participating institutions.
