Ethan Crews, as the Manager for the Meharry-Vanderbilt Alliance, plays a pivotal role in setting and realizing the strategic direction for this distinguished organization that bridges the gap between two esteemed institutions. In partnership with and guidance from Dr. Karen Winkfield, Ethan seeks to support and catalyze growth as the Meharry-Vanderbilt Alliance pursues the mission to eliminate health disparities and promote health equity. 

After graduating from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Ethan moved to Nashville to work with one of the nation’s largest,  global, faith-based collegiate organization. As the Nashville Director, for nearly a decade, Ethan gained a wealth of experience in nonprofit leadership, cross-cultural functional partnership, and program management.

Ethan has a passion for developing inclusive environments and for fostering partnerships that drive positive change in our communities. He is eager to work alongside the talented teams at these renowned institutions to expand community-engaged research initiatives, strengthen educational programs, and develop innovative strategies to address health inequities.
