Dr. Joyce A Barbour, DDS, MBA, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral Surgery at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. She is also the Assistant Director of the General Practice Residency Program and Founding Director of the Special Needs Clinic. She is experienced in providing dental care in inpatient, outpatient, mobile and sedation settings to adults with disabilities, older adults and vulnerable populations.
 
Dr. Barbour received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry as well as her General Practice Residency. She is a Fellow of the American Board of Special Care Dentistry and a fellow of the American College of Dentistry.
 
Dr. Barbour is also heavily involved in her community with the most recent appointment being Clinical Director (Special Smiles) for Special Olympics Tennessee.
